Recce wins antibiotics patent as shares float

Newly listed Recce (ASX:RCE) has flagged the granting of a Chinese patent on its first day of official trading, effectively giving the company a virtual manufacturing and marketing monopoly for its RECCE antibiotics.

This distribution control would extend over about 80% of the world pharmaceutical markets.

Recce also confirmed the validation of patents in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

RECCE antibiotics have shown in laboratory tests that they have continued activity against bacteria, even after repeated use.

These achievements form part of Recce’s technology – which offers alternative antibiotics products within a wide range of human markets.

RECCE antibiotics kill both susceptible bacteria and drug resistant “super bugs” – a worldwide health danger arising from resistance to conventional, present-day antibiotics.

After a A$5 million IPO launched in September last year closed oversubscribed, the company floated today at A$0.31 per share.
