Discovery Metals continued to strengthen the economics of the Maun Copper Project in Botswana with additional drill results.
A further 15 infill drill holes on the Zeta Prospect returned several high grade intercepts, including 6 metres @ 2.3% copper and 32 grams per tonne silver and 8 metres @ 2.2% copper and 45 grams per tonne silver. The Zeta Project currently has a inferred mineral resource of 27.1 million tonnes @ 1.3% copper and 21 grams per tonne silver using a 0.6% copper cut-off. An updated mineral resource is expected at the end of April.
Managing Director, Mr Brad Sampson, commented:
""These results have again exceeded our expectations as they have further extended the greater than 2% copper high grade zone in the centre of the Zeta Resource to now greater than two kilometres in strike at shallow depth."
