Gujarat NRE (ASX: GNM)
Gujurat NRE (ASX: GNM) is primarily focusing on the development of longwall operations at NRE No.1 Colliery and continuing its long wall operations at NRE Wongawilli Colliery in the Southern Coalfields of New South Wales.
Gujurat reported a net profit of $21.039 million for the financial year ended 31 March 2011.
This was struck on total revenues of $246.9 million for the year compared to $170.1 million for the previous year.
Mincor Resources NL (ASX: MCR)
Mincor Resources (ASX: MCR) is an emerging multi-commodity growth company and a leading Kambalda, WA nickel producer with 10 years of profitable mining.
It has on-going cash-flows from its nickel mine with a once-only equity raising of $5 million in 2001.
Profits to date are $254 million and dividends paid to date are $102 million. Mincor has a strong mines, projects and acquisitions pipeline.
Finders Resources Limited (ASX: FND)
Finders Resources (ASX: FND) is moving closer to commercial production at the Wetar Copper Project located in Indonesia after a positive Bankable Feasibility Study.
Key parameters from the BFS were: a 9 year mine life producing 150,000 tonnes of LME Grade A copper cathode; Operating Costs (C1) US $1.09/lb Copper with a Net Present Value of US $304m and an Internal Rate of Return of 62%.
Finders has appointed Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse AG and Standard Bank Plc as Lead Arrangers for facilities totalling US$138 million to fund development of the Wetar copper project.
New Guinea Energy (ASX: NGE)
New Guinea Energy (ASX: NGE) is also listed on the Port Moresby Stock Exchange (POMSOX) and the OTCQX and is focused on petroleum exploration and production in Papua New Guinea.
The company possesses six onshore licences encompassing 53,000 km2 which represents one of the last available highly prospective, onshore, nonaligned acreage positions in SE Asia. To date there has been 1 billion bbls of oil and 15 Tcf of gas discovered in adjacent licences.
NGE has farm-in agreements on two of its six blocks (PPL 268 and 269) with a subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc. Talisman’s subsidiary is committed to spending US$11 million on seismic programs and may drill up to three wells on each of NGE’s licences over the next two years.
NGE is advancing its exploration programs on its four remaining wholly owned licences.
UXA Resources (ASX: UXA) has a diversified exploration portfolio of base metals (Zinc, lead, copper and gold in South Australia and New South Wales.
It has uranium exploration projects in Northern Territory and an important uranium JV with Reliance Industries, a Fortune Global 500 company and India’s largest company by market value.
UXA has commenced drilling at the Nabarlek North Joint Venture project in the Northern Territory.
UXA is also the 100% owner of GAA Wireline, a cash generating borehole logging business that provides UXA with another revenue stream channelled towards exploration.
