Krakatoa Resources (ASX: KTA) has extended to 8 April 2016 the exploration license covering its 80% owned Donggala Project in central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
This places the company in a strong position to build on the mineral prospects identified to date.
Donggala covers of 7,200 hectares and is located 20 kilometres northwest of Palu.
It has gold prospects with mineralisation styles near Palu belonging to the copper-molybdenum porphyry intrusive-epithermal style of related events.
The geological setting in combination with locals panning coarse gold in the streams indicates several coherent target zones.
