Hot Chili granted halt, to divulge material agreement

Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX this morning, allowing the company to complete a material agreement.

The company's shares are in pre-open.

During the June quarter the company secured a US$25 million debt facility to fund the Productora copper project into Definitive Feasibility Study.

It also received US$8.7 million VAT refund exporting benefit payment (VAT Refund Payment) from the Chilean Tax Authority which further boosted its cash position.

The company had $12.8 million in cash at the end of June.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 6th August 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
