Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending the release of capital raising details, with the company's shares placed in pre-open.
Hot Chili has not yet indicated where the potential capital injection will be allocated, but the company has recently been having discovering some very broad intersections at the Los Mantos copper project in Chile - which is the company's most advanced exploration project.
Earlier in the month from the project Hot Chili announced 36 metres at 1.4% copper and 0.2 grams per tonne gold from 49 metres.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Wednesday 14 December.
