Hot Chili hits copper in extension drilling in Chile

Hot Chili (ASX: HCH) has hit some copper in extension drilling at the Productora iron-oxide-copper-gold-uranium project in Chili.

The highlight was 53 metres at 1.1% copper equivalent from 108 metres, which consists of; 0.6% copper, 255ppm molybdenum, 0.1g/t gold, 17ppm uranium and 129ppm cobalt.

Other significant intersections included; 44 metres at 1.0% copper equivalent, 19 metres at 1.1% copper equivalent, and 12 metres at 1.0% copper equivalent.

The area appears to be quite prospective, due to Hot Chili saying mineralisation is present over at least 2.5 kilometres within the company’s landholdings, and remains open along strike.

The current 16,000 metre reverse circulation drilling program is almost complete, providing a platform for in-fill drilling for another 10,000 metres of a combined diamond and reverse circulation drilling.
