IMX Resources appoints new company secretary

IMX Resources (ASX: IXR) has appointed Stuart McKenzie as its company secretary, replacing Caroline Rainsford who is unable to commit to a full time role at the company.

McKenzie was previously company secretary with Anvil Mining (TSE: AVM) for almost six years, prior to which he held senior roles with Ok Tedi Mining Limited, Ernst and Young and HSBC.

While the role was previously a part time position, the acquisition of Continental Nickel in September 2012 has resulted in all financial and administration functions from Continental being absorbed by IMX without any staff increases.

This together with IMX’s dual listing on the Australia Securities Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange has turned the role of company secretary into a full time position.
