Queensland-focused explorer Hammer Metals (ASX:HMX) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending details of a capital raising.
Hammer has a major land position located in the Mount Isa province “sandwiched” between several major players including Glencore's (LON:GLEN) Mount Isa, E1, George Fisher and Ernest Henry, and BHP Billiton's (ASX:BHP) Cannington.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 27th July 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
