Goodrich Resources (ASX: GRX) is in pre-open this morning following the ASX granting the company a trading halt, to prepare details in relation to key changes to its board and management.
Goodrich said that it expects the outcome of this process to the market prior to 12.00 noon today.
The company recently completed a capital raising of $5.6 million, undertaken to fund the acquisition of Kimberley Diamond Company NL.
Goodrich entered into a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement with Gem Diamonds Limited (LSE: GEM) to acquire 100% of the equity in Kimberley Diamond Company in 30 November 2012, with an upfront payment of $3.25 million was paid to Gem Diamonds on 1 February 2013.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Friday 19th April 2013.
