Goodrich Resources (ASX: GRX) has identified two strong chargeability anomalies at the company’s Calarie Copper Gold Project in New South Wales.
Detected by a recent induced polarisation geophysical survey, the two anomalies are in close proximity to previous shallow drill intercepts of pyrite altered and quartz veined volcanic rock containing anomalous gold.
The newly identified anomalies could represent porphyry copper gold mineralisation, which may constitute immediate drilling targets.
Preparations are underway to secure a drill rig, along with access and approvals for drilling at Calarie.
The Calarie project is located eight kilometres north of Forbes in central New South Wales, and comprises three licences.
Of these, two licences are subject to a farm in agreement between TriAusMin (ASX: TRO) and Goodrich.
