eServGlobal’s (ASX:ESV, AIM:ESG) HomeSend joint venture has launched remittance services with Swedish-based, online money transfer organisation TransferGalaxy, enabling transfers to mobile wallets in 14 countries.
HomeSend is a joint venture between MasterCard (NYSE:MA), eServGlobal and BICS.
The service is now live with initial corridors to the Philippines, Kenya and Somaliland.
Further corridors will roll out in coming weeks to Armenia, Burkina Faso, Fiji, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
In July, HomeSend reached a remittance services agreement with Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka’s largest telecommunications provider.
