Uranium explorer, Energia Minerals (ASX:EMX) has been queried by the Australian Stock Exchange for a share price fall, although it would not be alone in this feat.
The regulator asked for an explanation for a fall from $0.024 to $0.015 on 22 July.
Energia did not have any information that had not been announced but flagged a likely sale by its substantial shareholder Carbon Energy (ASX:CNX) of its entire holding of 29,000,005 Energia shares.
Recently, Energia shrugged off Cauldron Energy Ltd’s (ASX:CAU) unsolicited takeover offer for Energia, set to expire on 16 August 2013 with no significant acceptances to date.
Energia has carved an inferred uranium resource at its Western Australian Carley Bore project of 16.7 million pounds of contained U3O8 at 330ppm.
A new drilling program is planned to commence in August-September 2013.
