Corazon Mining (ASX: CZN) has identified widespread copper sulphide mineralisation at its Top Up Rise project in the Gibson Desert of Western Australia.
The sulphide mineralisation is associated with base and precious metals and coincident with a large gravity anomaly.
Current exploration at Top Up Rise is focused on gaining a broader understanding of the geology below sand cover rather than testing the gravity anomaly.
Sulphide mineralisation has been intersected in all 8 holes drilled to date, complemented by complex alteration, with a diamond core extension hole underway targeting nickel-copper sulphides at depth.
In addition, Corazon is awaiting data sets from a recently completed aerial electromagnetic survey over the area, to define areas of further conductivity.
