Eurogold Limited (ASX: EUG) is in pre-open after the company was granted a trading halt by the ASX today, pending an update of the company’s status.
Last month Eurogold said that it remained on the hunt for a suitable resource project to acquire, although it had not yet been able to identify a project.
At the end of April 2013, Eurogold had cash reserves of $205,000 and a portfolio of shares which consists primarily of Dragon Mining (ASX: DRA).
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Wednesday 5th June 2013.
