Silver Swan Group receives first assays from Copper Hills and Lady Alma

Silver Swan Group (ASX: SWN) has completed its first phase of drilling at the Copper Hills and Lady Alma prospects in the Yagahong project area, Meekatharra, Western Australia.

The current drilling programme was focused on exploring copper-gold mineralisation within sheared gabbros at Copper Hills, and possible magmatic sulphides associated with peridotite rocks at Lady Alma.

In addition, the company currently has two diamond rigs in the Quinns area, one drilling the Austin volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit and the second focusing on other VMS targets.

Results from drilling at Copper Hills and Lady Alma include:

- 3m @ 1.4% Cu from 147-150m, incl. 1m @ 1.8g/t Au

- 2m @ 1.3% Cu from 38-40m; 3m @ 1.4% Cu & 5g/t Au from 59-62m; 3m @ 1% Cu from 97-100m; 1m @ 2g/t Au from 108-109m; 1m @ 1.9% Cu & 2.3g/t Au from 215-216m

- 3m @ 2.5% Cu, incl. 1m @ 1.4g/t Au from 49-52m; 7m @ 1.3% Cu from 63-70m incl., 3m @ 2% Cu

The company said these initial results reveal significant copper and gold mineralisation. Low grade but significantly elevated copper and gold mineralisation has been recorded throughout the majority of holes.

The exploration program continues with further results from diamond drilling expected in June.
