Targeting gold and coal in Western Australia, today Attila Resources (ASX: AYA) was admitted to the ASX, and will begin trading on Wednesday 8 December, after offering an IPO of 11 million shares at $0.20 to raise A$2 million.
Attila has secured options to acquire mining tenements located in the northern Perth Basin and the Paddington-Kalgoorlie-Kambalda gold belt, and has a medium term goal focusing on exploring its Western Australian coal and gold assets over the first two years.
The company has options over three projects; Talisker North, Cotters Run
and Lefroy.
Talisker North is a coal exploration project located in the northern Perth Basin, with coal analysis indicating thermal quality coals of Permian age, in a setting that correlates with the Irwin River and Collie Measures.
The Cotters Run Project is an option to purchase a three block exploration license in the St Ives-Junction Gold Belt.
The Lefroy Project is an option to purchase two exploration licence applications in an area 80mk southeast of Kalgoorlie.
