Aruma Resources to raise capital to explore West Australian gold projects

Aruma Resources' (ASX: AAJ) shares are in pre-open this morning, following the ASX granting the company a trading halt pending capital raising details.

Earlier in the month, the company importantly negotiated Native Title access to its flagship Glandore gold project, 40 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in the West Australian goldfields, which will allow for the commencement of drilling.

Historical drill chips scanned last week by Aruma confirmed that the mineralisation intersected previously at the Project is typical Golden Mile lode style with good grade and continuity.

In addition to Glandore, the Aruma portfolio also has the Jundee South project, which is 60 kilometres east of Wiluna and about 25 kilometres south of Newmont Mining’s (NYSE: NEM) Jundee Gold Mine.

The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 10th April 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
