Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) has commenced a second phase of drilling at the Tin Camp Creek Uranium Project in the Alligator uranium province in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
The 2000 metre reverse core and diamond drilling program is focused on defining extensions of the existing Caramal resource, which is 6.5Mlb U3O8 at 3,100ppm U3O8.
Additional drilling is also planned at the Caramal East and Gorrunghar Prospects this year. Surface sampling at Gorrunghar returned high grade assays up to 6089 parts per million uranium, confirming it as a priority drill target.
Alligator Rivers Uranium Province hosts nearly 1 billion pounds of high grade uranium resources and past production, including the Ranger Mine and Jabiluka.
