Alligator Energy (ASX: AGE) continues to find some exploration success from the Tin Camp Creek Project in the Northern Territory, and today has delivered some bumper intersections.
Highlights from the Caramal tenement include 14 metres at 7072 parts per million (PPM) uranium from 108 metres, which includes 9 metres at 10,099 uranium.
These results support the intersections announced in October, which include 14 metres at 6,991ppm uranium, containing 7 metres at 10,032ppm uranium.
The current drilling program is targeting an extension to mineralisation along strike and down dip, which will confirm the continuity of grade in these areas.
The Caramal deposit and prospect is one of the more significant occurrences of uranium mineralisation in the Alligator Rivers region outside of the Ranger-Jabiluka mining camp.
The deposit was discovered in 1971 by Queensland Mines Ltd which undertook the initial resource drilling program. Significant uranium mineralisation has been identified in 20 drill holes.
