Alcidion Group Ltd (ASX:ALC) has integrated twelve months of historical patient data for the Department of Health & Human Services in Tasmania.
This provides a unified electronic medical records for outpatient clinics via Alcidiion's Miya Clinic system to the Northern Integrated Care Service.
The NICS is jointly funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments and the University of Tasmania with the aim of providing patient-focussed services in Northern Tasmania.
Alcidion has invested over $15 million in developing the Miya Platform, which aggregates data collected from various sources to provide an electronic summary of people's medical history.
An added feature of the Miya system is the potential to integrate into the Australian government’s National Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record.
Alcidion began trading on the ASX in February 2016 after the reverse takeover of the shell of Naracoota Resources.
The company generated $5 million in revenues in FY15 from the deployment of the platform into beta sites and held $6.7 million cash as at 31 March 2016.
