Commercial passenger aircraft leasing firm Avation PLC (LON:AVAP) has purchased and delivered another brand new Airbus A321-200 aircraft to Vietjet.
The plane is the third in a series of new A321 deliveries to the Vietnamese operator, after Avation announced two further leasing deals earlier this summer.
The plane was delivered directly from the Airbus production facility in Hamburg and can fly up to 230 passengers.
Avation said that the lease terms are “typical” for an aircraft of this type.
The A321-200 will be used by Vietjet on its expanding route network of domestic and international destinations.
Shares were up 2p, or 1.5%, to 137p in early trading.
