Risers & Fallers: Aquatic Foods, Fastjet, Gulf Marine Services, Ovoca, Red Rock, SRT Marine

The Fastjet share price has perked up after directors were awarded options that exercise some 20% above the current share price

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 12.45pm.

RISERS

Ovoca Gold PLC (LON:OVG), up 10%. Loss before tax in the first half of the year widened to €2.16mln from €1.04mln the year before.

Fastjet PLC (LON:FJET), up 7.9%. Options shave been granted to directors that are exercisable at 31.5p. The shares rose 1p to 26.25p on the news.

SRT Marine Systems PLC (LON:SRT), up 7.8%. The company formerly known as Software Radio Technology said the terms of the existing agreement between exactEarth and SRT have been revised and a new non-exclusive agreement was entered into on 11 August 2016.

FALLERS

Aquatic Foods Group PLC (LON:AFG), down 11%. A technical administrative issue has delayed payment of the 0.7p dividend that was due to be paid last week.

Red Rock Resources Plc (LON:RRR), down 11%. Colombia Milling Ltd (CML) is apparently not keen on Red Rock converting its promissory note into CML shares. The two parties are in discussion on a resolution.

Gulf Marine Services PLC (LON:GMS), down 4.1%. The provider of self-elevating support vessels has received notice of early termination a mid-size class SESV supporting well services for a national oil company in the Middle East/North Africa region.

RISERS

Circle Holdings PLC (LON:CIRC), up 25%. The employee co-owned hospital group has been named as the preferred bidder by the Greenwich CCG to provide integrated musculoskeletal services in Greenwich.

W Resources PLC (LON:WRES), up 21%. The company has secured a finance package for the fast-track development of La Parrilla tungsten mine in Spain worth up to US$3.2mln.

Armadale Capital PLC (LON:ACP), up 12%. Mapping has backed up electro-magnetic survey findings at Armadale's Mahenge Liandu project.

FALLERS

Motif Bio Plc (LON:MTFB), down 9.2%. Motif’s flagship novel antibiotic iclaprim had reached the final stage of development, and is closer to answering a global call for new drugs to fight antibiotic-resistant superbugs.

Tethys Petroleum Ltd (LON:TPL), down 8.3%. Second quarter losses narrowed to US$4.9mln from US$25.3mln the year before, due to lower depreciation, depletion and amortisation charges.

Castings PLC (LON:CGS), down 6.4%. The company has seen a softening in demand from its main customers since June.
