Edenville Energy PLC (LON:EDL), up 43%. The company, which has a coal project in Tanzania, has been buoyed by reports that the country is to put a block on coal imports.
Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR), up 18%. The shares rose as the company said it was confident enough in the tungsten market to sanction a drilling programme near its Molyhill asset in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Ten Alps PLC (LON:TAL), up 17%. Ten Alps, trading as Zinc Media, has instructed restructuring professionals to put Ten Alps Media Limited (formerly Atalink Limited) into creditors voluntary liquidation.
LOSERS
Nostra Terra Oil & Gas Company PLC (LON:NTOG), down 15%. TransGlobe Petroleum International considers Independent Resources Egypt, its JV with Independent Resources plc, to be default re loan note interest payments. NTOG contests the assertion.
Pennant International Group PLC (LON:PEN), down 6.4%. The company has raised around £3.65mln through a placing of shares at 55p each.
Sunrise Resources Plc (LON:SRES), down 4.6%. The share price waned after it gave an update on its Nevada assets.
