Recent progress by Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL, CVE:GAL) has clearly encouraged the experts at Whitmore Howard, which has today almost double its price target for the Ireland focussed gold junior.
It comes after Galantas unearthed positive exploration results to the south of its Omagh mine, as well as other previously reported successes in the area.
Galantas also announced recently that it had secure underground mining equipment which would assist training operations and help avoid delays once the group is able to proceed to mining operations.
Whitman Howard mining analyst Roger Bade also highlighted a potential catalyst coming soon as he noted that planning consent is expected to move into focus next month, as a judicial review gets underway.
The broker has a ‘buy’ rating for the stock, and today lifted its target to 29.4p, up from 15.1p, and at that level it suggests more than 200% upside to the current Galantas share price of 8.75p.
