Friday in holiday season and it promises to be a quiet one
Interim results are expected from Volution Group Plc (LON: FAN) , the firm which supplies ventilation products to the residential and commercial construction market in the UK and Europe.
There are of course a number of factors, which will be weighing on investors' minds, as the results come through - particularly the potential illwinds caused by the UK's vote to leave the EU on June 23 this year.
It comes after last week's PMI construction data made for difficult reading.
Activity in July (last month) fell again, and there has been a clear loss of momentum since the second quarter of 2016, the survey revealed.
While there is uncertainty about the course of the UK economy post Brexit and its place within European trade, construction projects are simply not happening and property prices have also been put under pressure.
There have also been a well documented slow down in property prices since the vote - notably in London where prices have been slashed.
A big name in the building trade Travis Perkins recemtly warned that the EU referendum has created "significant uncertainty" in the outlook for its business.
