Risers & Fallers: Benchmark, Blenheim Natural Resources, CloudCall, Esure, On the Beach, RBS

Cloudcall and Benchmark rise after issuing shares at a premium while Blenheim advances after subscribing for shares in some other company's placing

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at midday.

RISERS

Blenheim Natural Resources PLC (LON:BNR), up 17%. The company has agreed to subscribe for 120,000 IGS (International Geoscience Services) Limited shares at a pound a pop..

CloudCall Group PLC (LON:CALL), up 11%. The software company is raising money to boost its sales force, especially in the US.

Benchmark Holdings PLC (LON:BMK), up 7.7%. Like CloudCall, Benchmark is issuing shares at a premium. The biotech is seeking to raise around £30.7mln.

FALLERS

On the Beach PLC (LON:OTB), down 7.4%. The group remains on track to achieve profitability for the year in line with the board's expectations despite a number of negative external factors, such as terrorist attacks.

Esure Group PLC (LON:ESUR), down 6.4%. The insurer has decided to cut the interim dividend to 3p from 4.2p to retain capital for future growth.

Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (LON:RBS), down 5.8%. The UK taxpayer–owned bank posted a £1.08bn deficit in the three months to June, versus a £280mln profit the year before.

RISERS

Petro Matad Limited (LON:MATD), up 64%. Shell and Petro Matad have kissed and made up over the exit payment relating to the Block IV and V PSCs, with Shell agreeing to pay an initial US$10mln.

Avanti Communications Group PLC (LON:AVN), up 48%. The FT’s Alphaville blog reports that Avanti’s sector peer, Inmarsat, had been prepared to pay up to 150p a share for Avanti before ruling itself out of the bidding – at least for the time being – with a statement asserting it had no intention of launching a bid for Avanti.

Blue Prism Group PLC (LON:PRSM), up 19%. The robotic process automation specialist pleased the market with its trading update, which showed “strong pipeline progress”.

FALLERS

Grafenia Plc (LON:GRA), down 15%. The AGM statement revealed that sales have receded since the EU referendum result.

Audioboom Group PLC (LON:BOOM), down 9.5%. A Chinese fund is mulling a major cash injection, though at least some of the money seems to be earmarked for an acquisition.

PHSC PLC (LON:PHSC), down 7.6%. Underlying earnings (EBITDA) fell to £368,000 in the year to the end of March from £818,00 at the healthcare solutions provider.
