Boeing shares dip after Q2 charges warning

Aircraft maker Boeing Co shares dipped on Friday in the wake of its after-hours announcement on Thursday that its second-quarter results will include more than $2bn in charges related to the 787, 747 and KC-46 tanker aircraft programmes

Aircraft maker Boeing Co (NYSE:BA) shares dipped on Friday in the wake of its after-hours announcement on Thursday that its second-quarter results will include more than $2bn in charges related to the 787, 747 and KC-46 tanker aircraft programmes.

The combined charges address high-profile problems such as dwindling demand for very large planes like the 747 and a hangover of nearly $30bn in deferred costs from producing the 787 Dreamliner.

Boeing shares were down 0.15% at $133.31 on Friday.
