Stratex International plc (LON:STI), up 12.8% to 2.43p. The mining group, which has assets in Turkey, told investors that its operations have been unaffected.
Transense Technologies Plc (LON:TRT), up 43.5% to 1.43p. It signed a licencing deal with General Electric.
Sovereign Mines of Africa Plc (LON:SML), up 15.4% to 0.38p. Jeremy Sparrow, described by the company as “a highly distinguished investment and financing professional” has joined the board as non-executive director.
Losers
Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (LON:CGNR), down 6.8% to 41p. The explorer gave an update for its gold project in Northern Ireland.
Melrose Industries PLC (LON:MRO), down 4.8% to 632p. Shareholder FMR LLC has reduced its stake in the company, selling 590,000 shares, to hold 4.66%.
Mirada Plc (LON:MIRA), down 9.5% to 4.75p. The digital TV specialist released financial results for the twelve months to the end of March.

Sound Energy PLC (LON:SOU) up 15% at 38.25p. Mediterranean-focused oil & gas explorer achieves highly commercial and better-than-expected gas flow rate from Tendrara licence in Morocco.
Highlands Natural Resources Plc (LON:HNR) up 10.6% at 26p. Oil & gas group significantly increases its land position in the core of the Helios Two prospect area in Custer, Carter and Fallon counties, Montana.
FALLERS
Nyota Minerals Limited LON:NYO) (ASX:NYO) down 15.4% at 0.055p. Nickel explorer with project in Italy said it was unaware of any specific reason for the movement in its share price.
Christie Group plc (LON:CTG) down 6.4% at 80.5p. Business services supplier blamed weaker-than-expected trading for a full-year profit warning.
Trans-Siberian Gold plc (LON:TSG) down 5% at 38p. Miner said pit development last month was temporarily affected by equipment breakdown, while a lower average processed gold grade reflected some planned ore extraction from a lower grade area.
