Herencia shares return to Aim

Herencia now expects to close a deal on Paguanta before 29 July

Shares in Herencia Resources PLC (LON:HER) resumed returned to Aim in morning trade on 18 July, following a period of suspension related to the late filing of its annual report and accounts.

The report and accounts have now been filed, along with a comprehensive summary of Herencia’s recent progress.

The company raised US$150,000 in early June, a cash injection designed to see it through the ongoing sale of its Paguanta base metals project in northern Chile to Golden Rim Resources (ASX:GMR).

This deal is expected to bring in upwards of US$2.3 mln in cash and shares in Golden Rim, as well as transferring onto Golden Rim significant liabilities, but has taken slightly longer to complete than anticipated. According to Herencia the transaction is now due to complete no later than 29 July.

Meanwhile, Herencia has also delivered a JORC resource for its Picachos project, which is already the subject of production by local artisanal miners. The company remains on the look out for partnership deals or acquisition opportunities.
