Risers and fallers, including Premier Oil, Dechra Pharma and Shire

A handful of significant share movers on Tuesday, July 12

Some share movers at around 4pm

RISERS

Dechra Pharmaceuticals (LON: DPH), up 2% to 1,217p as the vet products firm said full-year trading was strong.

Premier Oil (LON:PMO), up 4.36% to 71.75p as it expects full-year oil production at or above the upper end of its guidance of 65,000 to 70,000 barrels of oil per day.

Shire (LON:SHP), up 1.22% to 4,877p as the key US Food and Drug Administration approved Shire's lifitegrast eye drops for treating signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

LOSERS

Quantum Pharma Plc (LON: QP.), down 3.94% to 67p as the pharmaceutical developer, manufacturer and supplier to the health and care sectors said an at AGM that trading in the first half of the financial year has been in line with management's expectations.

The UK’s largest professional services consultancy Begbies Traynor Group PLC (LON:BEG) reported profits of £4.5mln despite a challenging market in which insolvency volumes drop to their lowest level since 2004. Shares shed 10.19% to 48.5p on the day.

RISERS

Collagen Solutions (LON:COS), up 14.55% to 7.88p after yesterday, the group revealed revenue more than tripled last year, comfortably ahead of market expectations.

Ariana Resources (LON:AAU), up 10.81% to 2.05p. It comes after the gold mine developer announced yesterday it had commercialised its second lithium project in six months.

ASOS (LON:ASC), the fashion retailer, up 4.58% to 4,498p as it unveiled a 30% rise in sales for the four months to June 30, 2016.

LOSERS

Strategic Minerals PLC (LON:SML) down 2.86% to 0.34p, on no news other than it has hired Peter Wale as non-executive director with immediate effect.

Polo Resources PLC (LON:POLO) down 2.95% to 5.75p as it unveiled an increased in its interest in Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, making it the second largest shareholder of Hibiscus.

Orchard Funding Group PLC (LON:ORCH), down over 18% as the financing group said it expected revenues for the 12 months to July 31 to be broadly level with the previous year.

RISERS

RhythmOne (LON:RTHM), up 16.52% to 33.5p as the firm, formerly Blinkx, said its first quarter trading was expected to beat management expectations.

Lansdowne Oil & Gas (LON:LOGP), up 22.22% to 1.38p. It comes after a broker yesterday said its stake in the undeveloped Barryroe oil field, in Ireland’s Celtic Sea, was worth considerably more than the market value of the group’s AIM quoted shares.

Mosman Oil & Gas PLC (LON:MSMN), up 27.03% to 1.18p as it emerged HSBC now had a 4.013% stake in the oil and gas group.

FALLERS

Kolar Gold Ltd (LON:KGLD), down 11.11% to 1.40p as it emerged resource investment group Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR) was to take 9.4% stake in the gold firm.

Orchard Funding Group PLC (LON:ORCH), down 23.29% to 84p as the financing group said it expected revenues for the 12 months to July 31 to be broadly level with the previous year.

Begbies Traynor Group PLC (LON:BEG), down 14.35% to 46.25p as the property services group posted final results to end April and despite it saying results were in line with market expectations with growth in both revenue and profits.
