Premier African poised to restart process plant at RHA

Screens and plant modifications have been completed with electrical reticulation to take place over next two days.

Premier African Minerals Limited (LON:PREM) expects the processing plant at the RHA Tungsten in Zimbabwe to be switched on this week.

Premier gave its contractor APT a deadline of July 6 to rectify the problems with the new plant at 49%-owned RHA.

Today it said screens and plant modifications had been completed with the completion of electrical circuits to take place over next two days.

George Roach, chief executive, said: "We expect to start running the plant later this week, once the electrical reticulation is finished."

Once operations recommence, a joint assessment will be conducted with the plant supplier Roach said last month.
