Infrastructure and support services firm Stobart Group Limited (LON:STOB) promised to double its dividend over the coming year.
The group will up the pay-out this year to 12p, from 6p currently, through a quarterly dividend of 3p starting in October.
Elsewhere, MySQUAR Limited (LON:MYSQ), the Myanmar-language social media and entertainment platform, has enhanced its revenue potential with major advertising initiatives with Google and Facebook.
The next release of the company’s MyChat platform, scheduled to go live in the middle of next month, will incorporate Google’s AdMob, the world’s largest mobile advertising network.
At the same time Facebook will pay for advertising space on MySQUAR's mobile game, Destroyer King.
BATM Advanced Communications Limited’s (LON:BVC) Chinese subsidiary Adaltis has been valued at US$58mln after its local partner agreed to take a direct equity stake.
Adaltis manufactures medical diagnostics equipment and partner Egens Biotechnology will pay RMB20mln (US$3mln) for a 5.5% holding with an option to buy a further 10%.
In other news, Lekoil Limited (LON:LEK) has inked an additional new debt deal with Sterling Bank which makes available the equivalent of US$17.7mln.
The facility, for 5bn Nigerian Naira, has a three year term and, according to Lekoil, it gives additional flexibility and allows it to cover costs for the Otakikpo field in domestic currency.
Akers Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:AKER, LON:AKR) said it was “delighted” at the “highly successful” trial of the company’s rapid diagnostic for chlamydia.
The system, which uses a finger stick blood sample, matched the findings of lab tests in 96% of the cases.
Oil explorer and production firm Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Compnay PLC (LON:NTOG) blamed the weak oil price profits and revenues falling despite increasing net production by over 80%.
For the year to December 31 2015, revenues were down to £594,000 (2014: £1,267,000), as were gross profits, which dipped to £385,000 (2014: £997,000).
Stratmin Global Resources PLC (LON:STGR) expects the sale of its main business, Madagascan graphite mine Graphmada, to Bass Metals to complete on schedule in July.
At completion, StratMin will have a holding in Bass and a stronger balance sheet to look at other projects, it said. Losses in the year to December 2015 were £2.16mln (£2.38mln).
And finally, natural resources explorer Metals Exploration Plc (LON:MTL) is continuing discussions with the Runruno project’s lenders to restructure its debt facility.
The company says it has made the interest payment for June, but hasn’t made the capital repayment yet. The company has added that it is having to repair the feed end trunnion and bearing on its mill.
Metals Ex hopes to have the mill back up and running by the end of the week, when it will resume “test running and debugging” operations.
