Amur aims to complete Kun-Manie DFS by end 2017

Currently, Amur is carrying out 15,000m of drilling

Amur Minerals PLC (LON:AMC) expects to complete the definitive feasibility study for its Kun-Manie nickel project in Far East Russia by the end of 2017.

Work currently is ‘squarely focused’ on this it said.

Currently, Amur is carrying out 15,000m of drilling to generate a large representative metallurgical sample from the MKF [Maly Kurumkon / Flangovy deposits] and also to convert existing Inferred resources at MKF to expand the potential reserves.

Amur added it will also carry out a water survey to define the locations for test wells scheduled for drilling in 2017.

Kun-Manie’s resource currently stands at 107mln tonnes containing 484,100 nickel tonnes and 136,600 copper tonnes.

Results for 2015 showed a loss of US$706,000 (US$1.36mln).
