Risers & Fallers, including Essentra, European Metals Holdings

Metminco investors are awaiting deal news as the mining junior's shares have been suspended in Australia.

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at around 4:00pm

RISERS

European Metals Holdings Ltd (LON:EMH) up 12% to 25.8p. Central Europe focused-explorer says no reason for the share price but lithium plays are very hot at present.

Wandisco PLC (LON:WAND) up 8% to 168p. IT group raises US$15mln at 160p per share to fund growth in Big Data business.

Sopheon PLC (LON:SPE) up 12% to 125p. Three directors of the software group buy 52,000 shares at a price of 108.4p.

FALLERS

Shares in Essentra PLC (LON:ESSNT) fell a further 8% today to 550p after plunging yesterday after the engineering and plastics group blamed tough markets and a shake-up for a profit warning.

Highlands Natural Resources Plc (LON:HNR) dropped 25.15% to 47.25p as it said a test of its re-fracking technology will take place in the next three months.

Property project manager Styles & Wood Group PLC (LON:STY) fell over 7% to 365p as it said today non-exec director Robert Hough sold 5,000 shares at 395p each.

He is now beneficially interested in around 0.01 per cent of the issued share capital.

Risers

Fastjet (LON:FJET), up 27% to 37.5p. Investors continue to respond to Thursday’s appointment of new chief executive Nico Bezuidenhout, who joins from rival low cost carrier Mango.

Ten Alps Plc (LON:TAL), up 10.5% to 1.05p. The media group has secured an extension to a £750,000 loan for a further six months.

Koovs Plc (LON:KOOV), up 9.6% to 59.75p. A regulatory statement shows Indian group HT Media had taken an 8.2% stake (12mln shares) in the company.

Fallers

Anglo Pacific Group plc (LON:APF), down 6.4% to 83.5p. It revealed that latest forecasts from Rio Tinto indicate less mining in an area the company has a royalty over.

SThree Plc (LON:STHR), down 7.83% to 323.5p. The staffing group released what it described as ‘mixed’ results for the six months to May 31.

Prospex Oil & Gas (LON:PXOG), down 6.4% to 1.1p. The company released a results statement for the twelve months to December 31.

Risers

Kimberly Enterprises (LON:KBE), up 100% to 1.20p. The Eastern Europe property group gave details of equity transfers which change the company’s controlling shareholder.

Metminco Ltd (LON:MNC), up 35% to 0.25p. The South America focussed mining junior’s shares were suspended in Australia (but not here) because the company was becoming aware that price sensitive information regarding the Los Colatos partnering process may be the public domain.

HydroDec Group Plc (LON:HYR), up 26% to 2.65p. The oil processing and chemical group announced, in an afterhours statement on Thursday, that chairman Lord Moynihan had acquired 472,267 shares at 1.9p, while non-executive director and significant shareholder Andrew Black had bought 14mln shares at 2p (giving a total of 26.5% of the company).

Fallers

Frontera Resources Corporation (LON:FRR), down 27% to 0.18p. The company has convened a general meeting of shareholders, due to take place on June 28.

Eagle Eye Solutions Group (LON:EYE), down 11% to 162.5p. The software firm released a pre-close trading update showing revenue below management expectations due to delays with significant contracts.

GETECH Group Plc (LON:GTC), down 8.4% to 24.5p. The geoscience group cautioned in a trading update that its market remains ‘very depressed’ and orders for the fourth quarter have been either deferred or cancelled.
