Medical technology supplier Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (LON:IHC) has signed a one year rolling contract with Atom Medical, as well as a five year contract with EPMC Pharma.
The deal with Atom – the largest manufacturer of incubators in Japan – allows Inspiration to retain the exclusive rights to sell a wide range of Atom products used in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in the UK.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Atom Medical,” said chief executive Neil Campbell.
“[The deal] will help build our reputation as a one stop shop for neonatal intensive care equipment in the UK and Ireland.”
The second agreement inked today, with Belgium-based EPMC Pharma, allows Inspiration to sell the firm’s sucrose products in the UK, including EPMC’s Algopedol, a sterile oral solution used to reduce neonatal pain.
Inspiration, which claims to have been the market leader in the distribution of single dose sucrose products since 2003, believes today’s deal with EPMC will reinforce this position further.
