RISERS

China New Energy Ltd (LON:CNEL) up 38% to 3.75p. The engineering and technology solutions provider to the bioenergy sector said that its investment agreement with Sunbird Bioenergy Africa Limited is expected to be signed by the end of next month.

Vela Technologies PLC (LON:VELA) up 11% to 0.2p. The investing company received notification of a major interest in shares. Kevin Sinclair buys 14% stake.

Kibo Mining (LON:KIBO) up 8% to 5.1p. Tanzania-focused miner entered into a preliminary pact with Australia-based Lake Victoria Gold.

FALLERS

PureCircle (LON:PURE) down 12% to 318p. The natural sweetener maker has had its shipment of stevia seized by US customs due to allegations it was produced under forced labour.

RuPetro plc (LON:RPO) down 13% to 0.65p. All resolutions proposed at the AGM were passed, no known reason for drop.

North River Resources plc down 10% to 0.11p. The miner reported an increase loss due to one-off impairments.

Beowulf Mining plc (LON:BEM) up 13.3% to 4.25p. Mineral explorer focused on Sweden and Finland secured a licence for polymetallic exploration in southern Sweden.

Petroneft Resources PLC (LON:PTR) up 9.6% to 2.275p. Production rose sharply due to encouraging results on wells drilled at the Arbuzovskoye field in Tomsk Oblast, Russia.

Lombard Risk Management plc (LON:LRM) up 3.85% to 10.13p. Financial services group won contract for its its flagship regulatory reporting product from a global banking group.

FALLERS

Nighthawk Energy (LON:HAWK) down 17.1% to 0.85p. US-focused oil developer and producer posted a 38% fall in group revenue to US$29.6mln in 2015, due mainly to lower oil prices.

Sabien Technology Group Plc (LON:SNT) down 16.7% at 5p. Energy efficiency technology firm predicted annual losses of up to £1.7mln.

Boxhill Technologies PLC (LON:BOX) down 13.5% to 0.16p. The lottery and e-commerce group received winding up petitions purportedly issued under the Insolvency Act 1986 against itself and subsidiary Prize Provision Services Limited. Boxhill said it believed the petitions were wholly without legal merit.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources PLC (LON:CGNR) up 17%. The Irish resource explorer said it has started its drill program on its licences on the Glenish and Clay Lake - Clontibret gold prospects in Ireland.

Premier Veterinary Group PLC (LON:PVG) up 10.9%. It’s subsidiary, Premier Vet Alliance (US) Ltd, has inked a five-year deal with Atlanta-based Veterinary Products Inc (VPI) to supply its preventative healthcare program for pets, known in the US as its Premier Pet Care Plan, to at least 200,000 pets on plan.

Eckoh PLC (LON:ECK) up 6%. The secure payments specialist has updated its US distribution agreement with West Corporation, and has announced two contract wins.

FALLERS

Cobham PLC (LON:COB) down 16.5%. Shares continue to slide after the company confirmed on Wednesday that it will continue plans for a £500mln rights issue to reduce the risk of breaching its banking covenants.

Armadale Capital PLC (LON:ACP) down 15.4%. The AIM-listed firm has agreed to buy the Mahenge Liandu Graphite Project in south-east Tanzania. The deal will be an all-share deal, with the company issuing 80mln shares to Aussie firm Graphite Advancement Tanzania Pty Ltd.

Ekf Diagnostics Holdings PLC (LON:EKF) down 11.6%. The company said it has made good progress during the first quarter in an AGM statement on Thursday morning, but also announced the placing of 42.2mln new shares by way of an accelerated book build to repay its debt to North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC.
