Risers & Fallers: Circle Oil, European Metals, Koovs, Nature Group, Secure Trust Bank, and Westminster

Struggling Circle Oil got some leeway, Koovs secured funding, and Arbuthnot Securities is selling a big chunk of Secure Trust Bank.

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at around 3:00pm.

Risers

K&C Reit Plc (LON:KCR), up 14% to 8p. The real estate group completed its £1.6mln acquisition of The Osprey Management Company.

Greatland Gold Plc (LON:GGP), up 11.8% to 0.33p. Company directors Paul Johnson and Gervaise Heddle bought 4.5mln shares.

Arbuthnot Banking Group (LON:ARBB), up 6.89% to 1590p. The City firm is set to bank £145mln from the sale of shares in Secure Trust Bank.

Fallers

Boxhill Technologies (LON:BOX), down 23.8% to 0.24p. The company revealed it had returned to operational profitability. The shares were, however, previously suspended for most of this year because of a delay in the publication of its full-year results.

Independent Resources (LON:IRG), down 17.8% to 0.06p. Some of the shine has come off since Wednesday’s new arrangements to ease pressure on its financial position.

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at around 10.30am.

Risers

Circle Oil Plc (LON:COP), up 17% to 0.68p. The struggling oil firm was given some leeway from its creditor, International Finance Corporation, which has extended a review of its reserve based lending until June 24.

European Metals Holdings Limited (LON:EMH), up 21% to 16.50p. The share has now gained around 50% in two days, but in a stock market statement it said “not aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced to the market which, if known by some in the market, could explain the recent trading in its securities.”

Koovs Plc (LON:KOOV), up 7.8% to 34.25p. The India focused online clothes seller announced after Thursday’s market close that HT Media, an Indian group, had approved a proposal to invest £3mln into the AIM quoted company.

Fallers

Nature Group Plc (LON:NGR), down 23% to 5.62p. The port operations group’s results for 2015 showed a drop in earnings and cash flow.

Secure Trust Bank Plc (LON:STB), down 7% to 2600p. It announced City firm Arbuthnot Securities plans to sell 31.9% of the company through a placing to institutional investors at a price of 2500p per share.

Westminster Group PLC (LON:WSG), down 9% to 11.12p. The share saw some profit taking following Thursday’s surge (of almost 200% at one point) which was driven by a possible £30mln a year contract in the Middle East.
