Renewable power group Good Energy Group PLC (LON:GOOD) has sold a solar farm in Kent for up to £480,000.
Good Energy said it had off-loaded the 4.65 megawatt site at Wrotham, near Maidstone, to a member of the Trina Solar group.
The net profit on sale received by the company for developing the site will be between £430,000 - £480,000, in line with its 2016 profit expectations.
Good Energy expects to use the cash from the sale to develop the rest of its portfolio.
It gained consent for three sites and built four solar farms, increasing the group's generation capacity to 48 megawatts.
Chief executive Juliet Davenport said: "The site has been developed to enhance the ecology of the land and exemplify the long-term biodiversity benefits of solar parks.
"The site is well screened between two motorways and part of the land is a disused landfill zone.
"The outlook for the full year financial performance remains in line with current market expectations for 2016. We look forward to updating shareholders on further developments in due course."
Shares in Good Energy rose 2.5p, or 1.1%, to 221p in mid-morning London trading.
