Spirits specialist Distil PLC (LON:DIS) has had its RedLeg Spiced Rum approved for sale in the US.
The firm – which owns other brands such as Diva Vodka and Jagos Cream Liqueur – has been given the green light from the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
The approval means Distil now has three brands cleared for sale in the US, after Blavod Black Vodka and Blackwood’s Gin gained TTB authorisation last year.
“TTB approval for RedLeg Spiced Rum will further enhance the company’s presence and further sales opportunities in the USA,” said executive chairman Don Goulding.
Shares were flat at 1.03p.
