Workforce management software provider ServicePower Technologies Plc (LON:SVR), announces that Non-Executive Chairman Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay and Marne Martin, Chief Executive Officer, purchased 661,731 and 327,354 ordinary shares of 1 pence each respectively, at a price of 2.5 pence per share.
Fitzwilliam-Lay and Martin have a stake of 4.47% and 0.17% of the issued share capital, respectively.
In other news, drilling has now started at the Hanns Camp nickel/copper sulphide prospect in Australia, Strategic Minerals (LON:SML) confirmed today.
By spending A$250,000 on exploration Strategic can take a 50% stake in Central Australian Rare Earths , the owner of the Laverton project that includes the Hanns Camp prospect.
Meanwhile, Capital Drilling Ltd (LON:CAPD), which provides rigs and services, won a number of exploration contracts in its first quarter, signalling a measured recovery in the mining sector.
The group also saw stable revenue over what is a traditionally weak first quarter, with turnover increasing into the second quarter due to the start of short term contracts.
Over at Haydale Graphene Industries PLC (LON:HAYD), it agreed a partnership with AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group which sees the AIM quoted group supply plasma reactors to treat graphite from a mine in Sri Lanka.
It follows two years of partnership between the two companies, and paves the way for the development of a European centre of excellence for graphene that can operate at scale, supported by in-situ reactors.

Using data from five new drill holes, EMH's flagship Cinovec deposit in the Czech Republic is now estimated to contain indicated resources of 0.5Mt of lithium from 49.1Mt of ore at a grade of 0.43%.
Highlands Natural Resources Plc (LON:HNR) has unveiled a low cost acquisition of oil exploration acreage in North Dakota.
The AIM quoted company has acquired some 1,979 acres in the Williston Basin in a deal worth around US$14,000, paid in cash. The deal adds to North Dakota licences acquired in November, and its takes Highlands’ position in the area to 3,951 acres.
