Well Oriental Investments Limited, a 34.99% shareholder in theme park ticketing specialist Galasys PLC (LON:GLS) has entered into a standstill agreement with pre-IPO significant shareholders.
The effect of the standstill agreement is to commit all signatories to maintain their present shareholdings, which amount in aggregate to 50.58% of Galasys' issued share capital, such that none will buy or sell shares during the next nine months.
In other news, investment company Tern PLC (LON:TERN) has had its Internet of Things (IoT) security subsidiary included in the list of “Cool Vendors” by Gartner.
Tern’s Device Authority, which provides security software solutions, was recognised in the Cloud and Emerging Technology Security 2016 report by the technology research group Gartner.
Over at drug discovery group e-Therapeutics PLC (LON:ETX), it announced a deal to acquire an internet search engine for up to £2.32mln.
Searchbolt, the business being bought, was spun-off from ETX when the latter was listed on stock market in 2007.
Elsewhere, Sound Energy PLC (LON:SOU) is set to drill the potentially high impact Badile exploration well this year, following the receipt of the final approval for drilling.

Horizonte Minerals Plc (LON:HZM) is putting together a new resource statement for its Araguaia nickel project in Brazil to reflect four new concessions and Glencore’s adjacent GAP project.
The Araguaia project contains 72mln tonnes of ore in the indicated category, grading 1.33% nickel, while Glencore’s neighbouring project that Horizonte acquired last year has 105mln tonnes.
Meanwhile, Red Rock Resources Plc (LON:RRR) is poised for a royalty boost after Para Resources, to which it sold the El Limon mine in Colombia, has bought further concessions in the South American country.
It has bought three small operating mines - part of 17,000 hectares - for US$1mln in the Segovia gold belt in north-east Colombia, which are set to provide additional feed material to the El Limon plant, allowing it to exceed the 200 tonnes per day plant capacity.
Over at Versarien PLC (LON:VRS), the group is to work with winter sports olympian Kristan Bromley to develop a range of graphene-enhanced skeleton boards for the Winter games in 2018.
Bromley Technologies and Versarien will also collaborate on ways to use graphene nano platelets to boost the performance of carbon fibre structures used in other elite sports.
