Anglo Pacific Group plc (LON:APF, TSX:APY) has seen a four-fold increase in the value one of its investments, based on the latest deal flow.
It has a 1% net smelter return (NSR) on production from Berkeley Energia’s (LON:BKY) Spanish and Portuguese assets, which it bought for US$3mln (A$4.1mln) in 2009.
Based on a transaction for a 0.375% NSR royalty over the Berkeley’s Salamanca uranium project in Spain, completed earlier this week, Anglo’s investment is now worth US$13mln.
The company also holds 30.3mln Berkeley shares, worth just under US$26mln.
“We look forward to Berkeley undertaking initial infrastructure development, and ultimately to first production at Salamanca," said Anglo chief executive Julian Treger.
