Security technology group Applied DNA Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:APDN) told investors it has landed a US$2.5mln contract with a US government agency.
The deal is for the group’s SigNature DNA product - which is describes as an “uncopyable, security and authentication solution” – and it is a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) running between April 1 2016 to March 31 2021.
It envisages sales of both standard products, as well as he development of new products.
BPAs easily facilitate repeat orders for set products, and are often used by government agencies for procurement.
