Main share price risers and fallers in London at 3.45pm

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 3.45pm

RISERS

Nyota Minerals Limited (LON:NYO), up 24%. Mark Lancaster has increased his stake in the gold explorer to 94.2mln shares, equivalent to 5% of the shares in issue, from 91.6mln previously.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources PLC (LON:CGNR), up 17%. Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR) has acquired 185,000 Conroy Gold shares at an average price per share of 24.6p. Metal Tiger's holding equates to 3.35% of the current issued share capital of Conroy Gold.

Centamin PLC (LON:CEY, TSX:CEE), up 8.8%. Completing a win-treble for the gold sector, Centamin cheered the market with news that underground mining rates and average grades in the first quarter were above the forecast average for the current year.

FALLERS

Ascent Resources PLC (LON:AST), down 40%. The oil & gas company failed to live up to its name, with the shares slumping after it revealed the the IPPC permit, which was granted by Slovenian Environment Agency in June 2015 for the Petišovci project, had been withdrawn.

Shanta Gold Limited (LON:SHG), down 10%. Not all gold companies were top of the pops today, Shanta's shares fell to 6.75p after it placed 111.4mln shares at 6.5p.

Legendary Investments plc (LON:LEG), down 9.5%. Another company failing to live to its name; rather than investing, today's news concerned disposals of its stakes in Oracle Coalfields PLC and Sula iron & Gold PLC for £25,000.

RISERS

BMR Group PLC ( LON:BMR) up 8.6% to 4.75p. Company receives approval for its environmental and social impact assessment at the Kabwe tailings project in Zambia.

Minds & Machines Group Ltd (LON:MMX) up 6% to 9.03p. Chairman Guy Elliot buys 100,000 shares in domain name specialist at 8.5p per share to take his stake to 2.99%. Michael Salazar, chief operating officer, also bought 50,000 shares at 8.75p.

Randgold Resources PLC (LON:RRS) up 3.6% to 5,995p. Gold miner gets an upgrade to 'buy' from Bank of America Merril Lynch after falls yesterday on mixed quarterly statement. Best of the risers on the FTSE 100 index.

FALLERS

Forbidden Technologies plc (LON:FBT) down 19% to 10.01p. A swift reversal from this morning for the video editing specialist as it said it was planning a fund raise at a substantial discount to the share price.

Man Group PLC (LON:EMG) down 9% to 130p. Shares in hedge fund manager slump as Citigroup cuts rating to ‘sell’ from ‘buy’ on worries over performance fees at its flagship AHL fund. Share price target drops to 120p from 182p.

Vitesse Media PLC (LON:VIS) down 7% to 2.37p. Shares ease back after excitement yesterday over board room shake-up. Board size is slimmed down to three from five at the media group.

Main share price risers and fallers in London at 9.45am

RISERS

Plexus Holding PLC (LON:POS) up 12% to 79.8p. A ninth order has come in from Det norske to supply surface wellhead and mudline equipment services for the Langfjellet standard pressure exploration well offshore Norway. Worth £0.6mln with revenues expected to commence in August.

Forbidden Technologies plc (LON:FBT) up 10% to 13.6p. Shares have risen 75% this week after announcement of proof of concept trial for video editing platform Forscene with unnamed UK broadcaster.

Oxford Biomedica PLC (LON:OXB) up 3% to 5.71p. New data presented from two clinical studies indicating ground-breaking long-term four-year sustained and, in one of the studies, dose-dependent gene expression with the company's LentiVector delivery platform. The longevity in both expression and efficacy to date reinforces the benefits of the company's pioneering LentiVector gene delivery platform in the treatment of chronic conditions."

FALLERS

Ncondezi Energy (LON:NCCL) down 33% to 4p. Director and shareholder loan of US$1mln agreed while company finalises a development agreement with Chinese firm SEP, which has been delayed until the third quarter of 2016.

Interserve PLC (LON:IRV) down 19% to 320p. Contractor to take £70mln hit on Glasgow energy to waste contract. Trading elsewhere is ok.

Proton Power Systems Plc (LON:PPS) down 6% to 3.64p. Sales in the twelve months to December fell to £684,000 from £1.4mln in 2014 as a result of the ‘phasing’ of orders from Siemens. Order pipeline for this year is £1.8mln.
