Sirius Minerals PLC (LON: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY) said non-exec director Jane Lodge had bought shares in the firm worth over £18,000.
Yesterday, Hodge bought 100,000 shares at 18.35p each for £18,350.
She now has a beneficial interest in 200,000 shares, or 0.009% of the share capital.
The firm is developing the North Yorkshire polyhalite project and this week said it remained focused on a range of funding options and continue to believe that the overall funding requirement can be delivered through a number of mechanisms, with debt funding likely to make up as much of the overall requirement as possible.
The plan is that the mine will initially produce 10mln tonnes of polyhalite a year, though there is the capacity to double output. The cost to generate these 10mln tonnes is put at US$3.56bn.
