Risers & Fallers: Wishbone Gold, Lifeline Scientific, Dillistone, Ferrum Crescent, Mortgage Advice, Cambian

Wishbone Gold shareholders got lucky as the company revealed it is in debt funding talks

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at the close.

RISERS

Wishbone Gold PLC (LON:WSBN), up 19%. The company is currently in discussions with various parties in the UK and the Middle East regarding debt funding of around £2mln for its gold, precious minerals and gem trading operations.

Lifeline Scientific, Inc. PLC (LON:LSIC), up 14%. The transplantation technology company saw pre-tax profits more than double in 2015.

Dillistone Group PLC (LON:DSG), up 12%. The supplier of recruitment software said it had enjoyed a strong first quarter in 2016.

FALLERS

Ferrum Crescent Limited (LON:FCR), down 15%. The shares fell after an oversubscribed placing and subscription.

Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) PLC (LON:MAB1), down 12%. Another company with shares on the slide after a share placing.

Cambian Group (LON:CMBN), down 11%. Full-year losses for the provider of specialist behavioral health services virtually tripled and the dividend has been suspended.

RISERS

Golden Saint Resources Limited (LON:GSR), up 29%. The diamond digger clearly does things differently, sneaking out a positive announcement after the market closed last night. It said all three of its exploration licences in Sierra Leone are set to be renewed.

Summit Therapeutics PLC (LON:SUMM), up 15%. Having only nudged up yesterday on news that its PhaseOut DMD trial can be extended to the US, the shares are sharply higher today; must have been that lead feature in last night's Proactive Investors newsletter.

Hargreaves Services PLC (LON:HSP), up 15%. The update on the strategic repositioning of the UK's leading supplier of solid fuels and bulk material logistics got the thumbs-up from the market.

LOSERS

blur Group PLC (LON:BLUR), down 22%. The operator of an indirect procurement, managed service platform has made the transition to focusing on enterprise clients but that has led to longer sales cycles, it revealed in its results this morning.

Rose Petroleum PLC (LON:ROSE), down 19%. The company is terminating its earn-in agreement governing ownership of its Mancos acreage and has also agreed with Rockies Standard Oil Company to hand back the Cisco Dome field, wells, pipelines, gas tap, gas plant and all the equipment, following a strategic review of its assets.

Premier African Minerals Limited (LON:PREM), down 17%. The company is poised to buy a 52% interest in a Mozambique firm with a substantial limestone deposit for a total of US$2.1mln and has raised £1.1mln in a discounted share placing.

RISERS

Outsourcery plc (LON:OUT), up 83%. The shares tanked on Monday after a gloomy trading update but have recouped most of those losses this morning on news it has secured a new drawdown facility from its principal lender, mobile phone networks Vodafone. The new facility has been structured in a way that facilitates the sale of Outsourcery's principal assets in the immediate term.

Highlands Natural Resources Plc (LON:HNR), up 24%. The shares advanced to 24.25p after the oil and gas company revealed it had raised £519,093 through the subscription by an existing shareholder for 2.9mln shares at 18p a pop.

ECR Minerals PLC (LON:ECR), up 13%. The company has announced plans to advance the Avoca and Bailieston gold projects in Victoria, Australia.

FALLERS

The People's Operator PLC (LON:TPOP), down 34%. Jimmy Wales, executive chairman of the mobile virtual network operator, bought a further 100,000 shares in the company at 20p a go, raising his stake to 7.9%.

Pressure Technologies Plc (LON:PRES), down 26%. Shares dived on a profits warning as the engineer's dependence on the oil and gas industry continues to hurt it.

Sepura PLC (LON:SEPU), down 25%. Things are getting critical for the critical communications supplier on the cash flow front, and it may have to raise fresh capital to avoid breaching its banking covenants.
