Shares in Metals Exploration PLC (LON:MTL) ticked higher as the partial suspension order over its Runruno gold mine in the Philippines was lifted.
Permit delays and the impact of Typhoon Lando have put back commissioning of the mine, which had been scheduled for last October.
The company has completed repairs to the damage caused by the typhoon but needed approval from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB).
Now that has been give Metals Ex can commission the tailing discharge pipeline and the RSI and begin processing of ore and first production.
Shares rose 4% to 4.7p, a high for the year so far.
