Asthma inhaler group Synairgen (LON:SNG) has picked up a notable investor in the form of Leonard Licht, one of the founders of Mercury Asset Management.
Now a private investor, the veteran financier has acquired 2.775mln shares or 3.04%.
The shares were acquired through Boal & Co, the trustees to his pension scheme.
Synairgen’s flagship product is AZD9412 (inhaled interferon beta), a treatment for patients with severe asthma that has been passed over to AstraZeneca.
