RISERS
Churchill Mining (LON:CHL) up 71% to 22.5p. Indonesia has failed to pay its share of an advance payment sought by the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes and accordingly is in default of its payment obligations in the ICSID arbitration proceedings.
Halfords (LON:HFD) up 10% to 422.8p. Like-for-like sales rise 2.6% and company says profits for the year to April will be in the previously indicated range of £78-82mln.
Telford Homes (LON:TFD) up 5% to 354.3p. Housebuilder said profit before tax for the year to 31 March will be slightly ahead of market expectations. The consensus forecast for Telford's pre-tax profit before today's announcement was £30.75mln, up from £25.14mln the year before.
FALLERS
Tower Resources (LON:TRP) down 15% to 10.4p. Strangely only news today was that chief executive Graeme Thomson bought 118,000 shares in the oil explorer at 10.5p per share and now owns 0.97%.
Ferrum Crescent Ltd (LON:FCR) down 19% to 0.19p. Profit taking after shares soared yesterday on good due diligence update from Toral and Lago lead-zinc exploration projects in Spain.
Rose Petroleum Plc (LON:ROSE), down 6.4% to 0.22p. The share changed hands as high as 0.34p earlier today, before it told investors it was ‘unaware of any reason’ for the significant rise. It did, however, acknowledge it was considering new opportunities but said ‘no negotiations have been concluded at this time.’

iEnergizer Ltd (LON:IBPO) up 81% to 21.7p. The digital publishing services group forecast better-than-expected annual profits attributed to renewed business momentum, contract wins and the successful implementation of a transformation plan.
Keywords Studios PLC (LON:KWS) up 6% to 247p. Company unveils its largest deal to date with the purchase of the Synthesis Group of companies to position it as the market leader for video game audio and localisation testing services. Cost is €18mln but revenues will soar.
Koovs PLC (LON:KOOV) up 11% to 30.1p. Impressive share price rise given the company is raising £20mln (at 25p) or more than its market value prior to the share issue. India-focused fashion website said it needs the money to cope with the demand it is experiencing.
FALLERS
SeaEnergy PLC (LON;SEA) down 20% to 2p. Associate Lansdowne Oil & Gas (18.7%) faces hefty bill after Court of Appeal awarded Transocean US$7mln before costs in legal action between the drill rig operator and Providence Resources over the Barryroe field. Shares in Providence and Lansdowne, which own 80% and 20% of Barryroe respectively, are suspended.
Galileo Resources PLC (LON:GLR) down 8% to 1.1p. Re-modelling of a third target at Concordia copper prospect in South Africa has confirmed it has significant potential, but all the excitement was last month.
WH Smith PLC (LON:SMWH) down 2% to 1,770p. Profit taking after decent half year results. Stationery sales strong especially colouring books and underlying profits rose by 10%.

RISERS
Alecto Minerals (LON:ALO) up 48% to 0.152p. A positive feasibility study on its Matala gold project and a financing agreement to build and develop the site sends share price shooting higher. The study was based on a 400,000 tonnes a year open pit with a life of around four years 8 months at $1,200 per ounce gold.
Gulf Keystone Petroleum PLC (LON:GKP) up 13% to 7.46p. Oil price rallies to above US$44 per barrel. Company received March payment from Kurdistan yesterday, which brokers estimate should be sufficient to meet next debt repayment.
Range Resources Ltd (LON:RRL) up 11% to 0.39p. Multiple hydrocarbon zones have been identified the in newly drilled MD 250 well, onshore Trinidad. The AIM quoted oil junior described it as ‘highly encouraging’. Drilling of MD 250 was completed at the end of April.
FALLERS
Premier Foods PLC (LON:PFD) down 26% to 42p. US firm McCormick & Co drops plan to make a takeover bid saying the price the Bisto to Mr Kipling group wanted could not be justified.
Anglo Asian Mining PLC (LON:AAZ) down 9% to 5.6p. Kazakhstan miner saw a slow-down in gold production due to weather and geology in the first quarter but an uplift in copper and gold output.
Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) down 4% to 189.1p. Return to profit by supermarket chain largely discounted. In the fourth quarter, UK like-for-like sales lifted 0.9% and group like-for-like sales rose 1.6%. Statutory operating profit was £1.05bn against a loss of £5.75bn last time.
